Oh I actually made it already! It's called JHU Master's Entry into Nursing Program - Class of Summer 2020

Allnurses wouldn't let me post the comment for the FB link because they needed to check if it was spam (?)

Let me know if you guys have any issues finding the group, it's a closed group.

I have been accepted as well! I am still in shock. It hasn't fully hit me.

Also, I don't even want to think about the finances! BUT I was told if we received scholarships that we will be getting a phone call soon. Potentially Tuesday?

Congrats to those that have gotten in!

Long time lurker, first time poster. I finally signed up to connect with other prospective students. Yesterday around 3 pm I received my acceptance email for Spring 2019 start at JHU. I'm in absolute shock. Excited to connect with other future students! I would be happy to answer any questions about my application process.

Might be a silly questions, but anyone know of the exact start date or length of the program? I've been looking online but can't find anything on it

@amygreen The Spring start date would be Jan 14 and we'd end the program Aug 2020. Orientation is like Jan 9-11.

If you look up John Hopkins School of Nursing Academic Calendar, it has all the dates.

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted! As a later applier, really crossing my fingers that there are still spots left in the cohort. If you guys don't mind sharing, what were some of your statistics? I didn't take the GRE so wondered how I am stacking up. Thank you in advance!

For sure! I didnt take the GRE either. I'm finishing my last semester of undergrad as a neuroscience major and my overall GPA is 3.8, when I applied I had only completed the human development and statistics prereqs with A's in both. I have NO healthcare experience but worked as a clinical researcher for my entire 4 years as an undergrad. Hope this helps!

I should also add that I went to an information session at JHU a couple of weeks ago and they said that the GRE was primarily to help people that were on the "borderline" with their GPA (ex. having a 3.1 or 3.0) but that it was basically unnecessary for people with a 3.5 and above.
