Jefferson state spring/summer 2017

Published

Hello everyone I just wanted to start a post for the spring/summer applicants of 2017. Hopefully the spring applicants can give us summer applicants some insight as to what we should expect and any helpful tips. Also please post which campus you will be applying to/1st and 2nd choice, teas test tips, and the points you will be applying with good luck to everyone.

Anything yet anybody?

Nothing yet. The wait is killing me!

Nothing here either...I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I haven't heard anything yet! Hopefully good news soon!

Nothing yet. I applied to the Jefferson campus. I spoke to someone that graduated from the program the past August. She said that they have class 4 days a week the first semester. She worked full time. So if you need to work to support yourself maybe you can do it while in the program. I will be working.

I just called and the person I spoke to told me they are still working on the applications. She also said it could be another week or so. Let's hope she is wrong and it is this week!

Yikes lol. I'm just going to forget about it until I get something. I will drive myself crazy if I keep thinking about it. They do need to hurry up though. lol I got accepted in to a LPN program here in Georgia so I will pursue that until I get this decision from Jefferson State which is my first choice. Good luck everyone!! Hopefully we will hear by the end of the week.

Interested in seeing how working is possible here as clinical begins the first semester as well? I do know for the Fall, part time, weekend program you can work. I imagine one could possibly work evening, night, or weekend? Perhaps, but I have a visual disability and cannot see at night which is why I have mostly applied to day jobs but do not know what to do if I get a job offer and a seat in the Spring 2017 cohort. I will just play it by ear and see

Best of Luck to us all!!!

Makes sense. The friend that I know she worked 4 10 hour shifts. They let her leave on the weekdays and come back after class. Then she worked the other 2 days on weekends. I will more than likely be working mostly weekends. Yea just play it by ear. Maybe you can work one or 2 days a week depending on your financial needs. I just called and got sent straight to voicemail. lol They are probably tired of us calling. So I'm not going to call anymore. :) Hopefully we will find out soon.

What score did ya'll apply with? Anyone heard anything yet?

Nope nothing. I think I have 224. Applies to Jefferson campus.

Haven't heard anything either. I think I had around 210 pts
