I am so glad I was directed to this discussion forum. I believe it is a great place to share and learn. I am extremely interested in Jefferson's FACT program. I plan to apply for May 2012. I just wanted to reach out to anyone with similar interest and your thoughts on the process. I would like to know who else plans to apply for May 2012 and if your pre-req's have been completed.
Just to share a little about myself, I am completing my BS in Public Health at an online University (3 weeks left!) and have all the pre-req's completed. I am just excited about this next journey.
I also love how Jefferson FACT students automatically are accepted into the MSN program. My goal is to become a Women's Health NP, and Jefferson seems to be the way to go.
I would also love to hear from current students as well.
Hi everyone!! I was just accepted to the FACT program yesterday and I'm so excited to start the program. This thread was extremely helpful in finalizing my decision to do the program- BIG thank you to all the former/current FACT students who answered all these questions! And to my future classmates- I look forward to meeting some of you at the Accepted Students Reception in 2 weeks!
I'm from NY so I'm in a tight time crunch with getting my living situation figured out. I was wondering if any one has any recommendations on good neighborhoods to check out or reliable local realtors/sources to pursue to find housing? I'd prefer to live near-ish to the school (most importantly in a safe neighborhood) without breaking the bank (too much). I spoke with Niki yesterday and she said the first day of classes is May 15!! Funnily/Stressfully enough, the last day of my spring semester to finish up my prerequisites is the first day of the FACT program. These next 2.5 months will be a preview of the upcoming year! haha
Congrats everyone! I was accepted yesterday and I'm thrilled. I'm pretty sure I'll be going to Jefferson and can't wait to get started. Looking forward to (hopefully) meeting all of you soon!
How long after your interviews did u guys receive a final decision? My phone interview was yesterday and I was told I was going to receive an answer that same day, but I haven't received anything. And we're u guys contacts via email or mail? Thank you.
@Stacy- I found out via e-mail the same day as my interview. If they told you they would give you a decision that same day and they haven't, I would definitely call Niki Kelley asap. Also check your spam/junk mail because Niki said a lot of times her e-mails end up there. Best of luck, hope it's good news! :)

I am selling my white lab coat with the Jefferson logo...It is on the right upper arm...think that is a requirement for nursing students...I have not worn the lab coat size 6. New condition....
