Jefferson FACT 2012

Hello all!

I am so glad I was directed to this discussion forum. I believe it is a great place to share and learn. I am extremely interested in Jefferson's FACT program. I plan to apply for May 2012. I just wanted to reach out to anyone with similar interest and your thoughts on the process. I would like to know who else plans to apply for May 2012 and if your pre-req's have been completed.

Just to share a little about myself, I am completing my BS in Public Health at an online University (3 weeks left!) and have all the pre-req's completed. I am just excited about this next journey.

I also love how Jefferson FACT students automatically are accepted into the MSN program. My goal is to become a Women's Health NP, and Jefferson seems to be the way to go.

I would also love to hear from current students as well.

As far as the health insurance requirement goes, I guess it's more for Jefferson to cover their back legally to make those requirements rigid. My insurance right now is really affordable (no deductible!) so it would really be a pain to have to switch.

I just sent a request too! Haven't had time to get on here lately and had a lot of catching up to do. I am going to the new student reception next month. I'm somewhat local so no big deal.

Does anyone know when they will have the final tuition for outr year? I want to get my school loan in order but I need the exact tuition and the website still posts the current year's tuition. Any info on this?

Can someone please explain to me how it is that I got accepted to an ETP program at an ivy league school, but have yet to hear back from Jefferson?

Mitch,

We were given one tuition rate during the interview with Niki, but that rate changed when it came time to pay the bill. If I remember correctly, it increased several thousand dollars just days before the program started.
