Jeff State Summer 2011

Hey! I thought I would start a thread for all the people that are applying for summer admittance into jeff state so we could get to know our possible future classmates. They're accepting 50 on each campus and with the compass completely gone,and the teas v being solely relied on plus course points of course, I think this will make for a INTERESTING admission process to say the least! Any input and comments are welcomed;-)

you are right you can get them for around $300, but dont forget to get the online class & video. I guess I am just too nervous about buying new books online from people I dont know. I am also a neat freak and like things perfect lol!!

Yeah that video is like $130. And the medical terminology class is $30. Personally that's the only difference I see and that makes me feel alot better about not spending $700 on a book bundle!! I mean I can YouTube nursing skills! Or I've found a cheaper version of the cd on half.com for $25.

I'm nor sure. You might have to email the reps on that booklist paper that was given to us.

I thought they said at one point we would be going to clinical s 2x a week???? If not then I am only going to get one now!

Yeah second semester starting in august we will! If we get that far!! Cause the way there talking it's gonna be one HELL of a summer!

@maryk8rn- no but vie ear that first and second semester are considered "weed out" semesters and with first being in the summer- I'm sure there's gonna be a significant cutoff going into the fall- myself maybe included.

@jessangel28- I'm trying to stay positive. And I feel like I'm doing everything I can possibly do to stay on top of my stuff. But jeff state does have the rep of being the best and the hardest- and that just dnt happen 0ver night. The lady at orentation said herself that jeff states rep proceeds them, that she's constantly hearing at clinical sites that jeff state has some of the best prepared nurses so of course their standards are going to be higher than others.

@futurernjap- you can do it one day at a time! You just have to decide you want this more than you have ever wanted anything! I believe you can!

Summer term is not hard guys don't worry about it if you can read you will be okay pharm she let us have an open book on 2 out of 4 test and all the classes are done on power point 2nd semester is what you need to worry about if you can get past that you can get past anything and 1 uniform is good you go twice 2nd term but they may not be back to back it might be tues and fri
