Jeff State Summer 2011

Hey! I thought I would start a thread for all the people that are applying for summer admittance into jeff state so we could get to know our possible future classmates. They're accepting 50 on each campus and with the compass completely gone,and the teas v being solely relied on plus course points of course, I think this will make for a INTERESTING admission process to say the least! Any input and comments are welcomed;-)

Bsn and adn nurses take the same nclex exam, that should be all that matters! Did u ask the people at uab about this bull?!

Lol well I saw a thread on here saying that claim, and I figured maybe you would now something about it!! And I would be a ****** off nurse to if I don't get hired anywhere!! Hopefully IRS not true. And I doubt if Uab would know anything?!

So u don't know of anything we have to pay for tomorrow do you! No drug test, or uniforms or anything?

Not that I know of. As far a's I know all that information will be given to us tomorrow at orentation. I was really just being proactive in purchasing my books.

Oh....We get fitted for our nursing uniforms tomorrow to...that's kinda exciting! I haven't worn scrubs since I stopped working at uab in nicu in the summer of 09! I wish I could get my books, I have a scholarship that pays for books and tuition though and can't get them until its transfered over there from Lawson! Stinks it will probably take forever!

Honey we will meet up at orentation tomorrow. And I'll give the the scope on the books. I'll bring those incredibly easy books also. I bought all my books from half.com. I didn't even spend $300

I'll have to look at half.com, cause my scholarship doesn't cover study guides and workbooks, does half.com have those kinds of things on there? I'm super excited! I was in pre calculus class tonight at Lawson and I couldn't even concentrate on class cause I was thinking about nursing school! Yay for us!!!!

@maryk8rn....I am not currently a Jeff State student. I go to school right now @ Shelton in Tuscaloosa. But will be there this summer for the program! I am so excited!! :)

@athomas86 I know me to!!!! I was in 202 yesterday and I just left cause I was so excited! And yes half.com has wrk books, study guides, ect... It's a really good site!!!
