Jeff State Fall 2014 Hopefuls

Published

Hey everyone! I know this is sort of early, but I am planning on applying for the Fall 2014 nursing program at the Jeff State / Center Point campus! Looking for other Fall hopefuls :nurse::up:

I was June 1st was the deadline. But I could remembering wrong

It was june 2 lawson state deadline.

Wallace has a hyper program for level 2 nurses. I havent heard anything yet about nights and weekends. The best way to get info is to call the school or go up to the school. Ask what ever questions u may have also lawson has a website where u can ask questions and they contact u within 24 hrs.

I received my denial letter in the mail on Friday. I wasn't disappointed since I wanted to see how the process was like plus I really want to get a head start on learning the dosage calculations before I start nursing school. I also have to improve my teas score so that I can get my point up higher. I think the teas was the determine factor on my application. Good Luck on your nursing journey and wishing others wishes in getting in the nursing program :) Keeping our heads up high and working towards bettering ourselves before we enter into nursing school

I'm thinking n/w cutoff was 170-175. I saw an acceptance with somebody having a 176 ish. I used the book called 5 TEAS practice tests and scored a 93.3, so I highly recommend that book!

Lulu, I would also recommend the book 5 TEAS Practice Tests by McGraw-Hill. I didn't score as high as JunebugMama but I did get a score I was pleased with considering I only studied for 1 week.

If anyone needs to take CPR, take it Hoover Fire Department, it's only $15! The lady that teaches it at Jeff State charges $50.. I couldn't believe the difference!!

Thanks! What day did you sign up for?

Me too! Now we'll get to meet before orientation lol

I got transferred to Shelby day program. So I got a new background code. It has given me options for fall 2015 or summer 2014. Did anyone have this problem?

Yes choose fall 15

You all have my blessing and much success.
