I just applied to The RN program at Jeff State and I wanted to get a thread going for other Fall 2013 hopefuls. If you're like me, the next couple months of waiting is going to be torture and I just thought it would be helpful to have somewhere to go to help pass the time with others in our situation :) I'm pretty optimistic and think I have a good chance, but you just never know! What kind of scores did everyone apply with? I wonder what the cutoff will be? I was told it could be late July before we hear anything...anyone hear something different? Also, who is applying for part-time and who is applying for full-time?

Chemistry isn't required so it doesn't matter that it is 7 years old.
Mine changed to nursing like the day I applied. I honestly don't think that matters. I think it depends on who has Pre- Reqs left and who is now working toward their major. I have finished all Pre- Reqs and my friend who has more points than me still has Pre- nursing and she is still lacking micro. I don't think it has anything to do with who gets in or not. Don't sell yourself out!
Does anyone know if we have to take a computer class to put towards our degree? My husband had to take it and the councelor told him it was required for every major, but I don't see it anywhere on the nursing degree requirements. I don't want to get to the end and then find out I'm missing ONE class!
OMG they sending out rejection letters sooo soon..... Im so scared so far Ive been checking the mailbox and its been nothing, so imma keep praying and keeping my fingers cross.
I think we will know before the end of June. I think they have to tell us that timeframe just in case it does take that long so the school won't be on their case. Everyone I know said they were told the end of The next month but found out at exactly the 4 month mark. Here's to hoping we start finding out next week or the week after!
