Hi! Joe we are on the same boat been trying the test 2 times and wa really on a "give it up" stage. Had too many problems down the road so I had to stop studying, now I was thinkin of taking it again since the last 2 years... I don't really know where to start and how to start. I was so scared of taking and failing again....Please tell me how to get this through by sharing your experiences and study strategies.
Goodluck to you and may God answer all your prayers.....

I have taken the nclex-rn twice now. The first time I got 265 questions and was near the passing standards in all categories. The second time I got 75 questions and was near passing standard in all categories except physiological adaptation and health promotion. I felt like the test didn't give me a chance to pass. Regardless, I need help!!!! I am determined to pass this test and not let it defeat me. Joe or anyone out there, if you have any material or pointers for me PLEASE help me!!! Good luck to everyone out there taking nclex, we can do this!!

The first attempt I used Kaplan and the women did not do a good job with the decision tree. So I dropped that and my second attempt I did virtual ati. The first time I took nclex I got 265 questions and was near passing in all categories. This second attempt i only got 75 questions and was near passing standards in all categories except physiological adaptation and health promotion. I'm pretty down that I did worse the second time because i knew more content. As of right on I am doing another Kaplan seminar starting tmr.
Hi your wife's story just gave me hope. I too graduated from the Philippines way back in 1997. Today was the first time I tried and I know I did not make it coz I did not get the good pop up sign on the PVT Trick. I was hoping maybe you could give me tips on how your wife prepared for the test. What materials did she study? Did she take a review class any information will be a lot of help. I want to congratulate your wife. Thanks a lot.
