Just though I'd make a little support post for all of us NCLEX PN takers this Jan!

I'm taking mine on the 12th in Texas and I'm super nervous! Currently studying Cardiac questions with my Saunders CD. How are others studying? :)

bigmaine33...what scores were you getting for Kaplan QTrainers and Q bank...what about diagnostic test?

WIth a 63 on the readiness, you will pass!!!

My overall qbank score was 57% , qtrainers 56 50 52. I do 100 questions a day

ps did you use any other resource than saunders and your ati ?

Besides the Saunders and ATI I read the Kaplan pn test book. It mostly was about breaking down the questions. I think it helped alot. I also read the study guide that was posted earlier on this post. Good luck to you with your test.

I take mine on the 27th ( I've been nothing but a nervous wreck.) I took the Kaplan Review course at school ( it was part of our required class) and it was great. I have been doing nothing but questions- sometimes I get a fairly high average ( my highest was a 65 I think) and then sometimes I get a fairly low average- 38-46. I broke down each of the tests so I can test my self on a specific area- but it really does get overwhelming =) I am trying to figure out a plan of action..but so far I havent done much besides practice questions =)

Good luck everyoe!

Hey everyone, took my NCLEX PN this morning at 8AM! I was so so nervous. I got 85 questions, with 17 SATA, lots of priority and some meds that I had NEVER heard of. I did the PVT trick and I got 'you have previously scheduled this exam..." I hope that is still considered the good pop up!

Congratulations! :yeah: I got the same pop up and I passed! Your test sounds just like mine lots of SATA and priority questions and meds that I had no clue as to what they were!
