Psych nurse action figure ?
It seems I recently saw a cartoon in one of those old comic strips about flirting...lessee...
Oh yeah- here it is:
"Just think of flirting as a prophylactic during verbal intercourse!"
Sir, I think your...ahem...theory is...I'm sorry to have to say this, but I feel impelled to point out that your theory is, yes, full of holes!
(background music: "...and I guess that's why they call it the blues..."

Thank you for your perspective, No Stars.
And speaking of the blues, Jacob Rockstar-RN Psych Nurse Action Figure is dealing with the OCD blues:
The thing is, how can flirting be a prophylactic? I would think it might be an inflammatoriator.
For example, there is the rock song: "One Thing Leads To Another".
Yeah, well, maybe it isn't a cause'n'effect thing, but still, is flirting meant to DIS-courage someone?
I s'pose it could all be in the facial expression and the tone of voice:
"You have udderly large mammary's for a male; here, let me take off my bra and see if it fits you..."
Insult, or A Flirting Come-On?

Insult, or A Flirting Come-On?
Emasculating insult, presented as a come on. Men don't want to be told their mammory's are large any more than a woman wants to be told that hers are too small. It's just not done.
I guess Flirting can be a prophylactic if structured to be only light and playful banter, and intended to not lead to activities requiring other prophylactics.
No Stars In My Eyes said:Yeah, you're right. There is that fun banter that is fun because it IS going nowhere.
Yeah! Let's talk about something serious, like Patient falls.
There have been quite a few number of Patient falls on the Gero Psych Unit as of late.
All Staff Members are required to wear gait belts when they work the Gero Psych Unit.
Jacob Rockstar-RN has really gotten into wearing his:
