Yeah I wrote an email to accept the offer , but it took about a week for you know who to reply back and said "welcome to the program etc ..."

maybe in your case , since it's time sensitive , I'd suggest you write on a paper and hand it to him :)

Congratulations!!! I am so happy somebody actually got called from the wait list.:yeah::clown::nurse:

Guess what guys?!? I got a call today inquiring if I would be interested in a seat for the Fall nursing program at JU? I was like HECK YEAH!!!! So I guess I will be seeing most of you in the next couple of weeks...I am over the moon happy:p

Can I ask a question? Are you all doing the transfer BSN program? Im interested in this, as I will have my AA degree within the next couple semesters. What kind of GPA does one need to be competitive? And when you say its expensive, is it like outrageously expensive???

Waitingtobeanurse:

That is fricken awesome!!!!!!!!!! I am sooo happy for you. You sounded like you really wanted it and i am glad we both got in!!!!! I cant wait to meet yall. Whenever the orientation is. I wished I had enough posts to pm yall so we would know each others names once the program starts lol.

I am doing the traditional nursing program and the tuition is $13300 a semester. I got in with a 2.9 so I was ecstatic to get an acceptance!!!!! Good luck to you

Great congrats on everything!

K nurse-one-day, even though the tuition is a bit much, remember JU is a private university. The give a 7000 scholarship to most people off the bat, plus they give the FLRG (Florida resident grant) to most people to off set the cost. Then they have scholarships as well. I had a 3.5 GPA. Weigh your options, but you will know which is best for you.:)

Hey thats great info. I though the cost was a bit much but I didnt know about the grants and scholarships and stuff. Good new for sure. I like all the different nursing options they have. Im thinking this may be right for me. FSCJ and SJRCC are getting harder and harder to get into. 3.5 is about what Im sitting at. And is that your nursing pre-req GPA or the GPA for your entire AA degree?
