  1. munkeyann: I just moved to Georgia not even a year ago and was accepted to JU's program for this term. Im not sure if residency played as big a part in the process as did the GPA and interview. I commute daily and thanks!!! Good luck to you
  2. Amanda.J Contgrats girl!! See you at orientation! Everyone: Everyone has been great on this forum so much support and questions answered when I needed it!! Thanks everyone and see you all at orientation!
  3. Yes I did, yes the teachers only keep their stuff for their current semester, then throw it away. Then trying to get a syllabus from a class you took like 4 years ago is impossible!!! Lol I got a call from JU and they gave me a seat for the Fall so I am no longer going to Chamberlain. Still freakin about the tuition though!!!Good luck to you:)
  4. Yes the were pretty easy, like what are your strengths and weaknesses? Also why doyou want to be a nurse, things like that also at the end I asked my interviewer questions about what she likes about nursing and that rolled into a conversation!! I am extreemly worried about their tuition, I got the fall all set but am working my but off saving up for the spring term:twocents:! But on a positive note all these hurtles are a good thing to go through and in the end one day we will all be nurses!
  5. I dont know if all admissions interviews were like this but I was interviewed with my competition, they were fresh out of high school with not much life experiences yet. Also they wore flip flops and spaghetti strap shirts to the interview!!!!! I think they were looking for people serious and determined to get into the program, my GPA wasnt as high as most others but I NAILED my interview! Even the other girls said I did a great job lol! Also I transferred and I live in GA, I thought they would pick FL residents over out of state commuter students but it all worked out in the end. Just try and Im sure you will do great!!! Yes I agree with you about FSCJ they are virtually impossible to get into now!
  6. I am doing the traditional nursing program and the tuition is $13300 a semester. I got in with a 2.9 so I was ecstatic to get an acceptance!!!!! Good luck to you
  7. Waitingtobeanurse: That is fricken awesome!!!!!!!!!! I am sooo happy for you. You sounded like you really wanted it and i am glad we both got in!!!!! I cant wait to meet yall. Whenever the orientation is. I wished I had enough posts to pm yall so we would know each others names once the program starts lol.
  8. GotPho!!! I cant wait to meet everyone!!!! Yes I just got everything done as well, quick question. It asked to have a written response, I emailed him is that okay or should I type something and mail it in with my forms as well? Thanks for all the support everyone on here has been amazing and we will all be nurses one day!!!
  9. I got a call today!!! I was accepted into the Fall 2010 program from the waitlist, good luck everyone!!!:):):):)
  10. Honestly I think that a wait list letter is a nice way of saying all the spots have been filled. I think the only way we could get selected is if someone had to drop from the program for some reason:crying2:. Maybe well get in next semester.
  11. I dont know If I am accepted yet but I am in the same boat as you financial aid wise, I used all mine up at JU then got waitlisted for the BSN program . So I am looking into Chamberlian hopefully I can get in, also looking into Concorde but am very nervous about their accreditation. Well wish me luck I hopefully will be a student there in the fall
  12. Hello!!! I have an admissions appointment with them tomorrw, I can ask him about it and let you know. I currently am a student at JU and want to transfer to Chamberlain. If you dont mind me asking did they transfer alot of your credits? And also can you Finance it all with FAFSA or do you have to come up with a certian amount before classes begin? I also take the entrance tests after my interview, were they hard? Ok I will let you how it goes and I will ask him that question for you.!! Good luck and congrats on getting accepted!!!:yeah:
  13. Just got my letter too, and am wait listed. Maybe next year
  14. I am going to apply again for the transfer program and hope it goes well, also was considering FSCJ and Chamberlain College of Nursing. I just want to actually get into the field and cant wait till that day happens for me as well as all of us not chosen this term. Good luck yall.
  15. I haven't heard or received anything yet, but waiting list? Does that mean they are expecting spots to open up? I really wished we all could have been selected .
