Hi i wanted to know who applied For Ju in the fall 2010

or have been accepted to the program is it a god program over there

thank you i appled and i got a interview in the next 2 weeks

Just got a letter from JU, was put on a waiting list for 2010 Traditional Program(whatever that is), I would hate to have to go through this whole process again. So plainly speaking if you did not get a call and you get a letter you are out!:crying2:

Yeah...I just got a letter in the mail too, and said I was put on a waiting list for the traditional program although I was applying for the accelerated program. Congrats on the people that got accepted. Guess I have to wait another year...bummer :(

I haven't heard or received anything yet, but waiting list? Does that mean they are expecting spots to open up? I really wished we all could have been selected :crying2:.

Just be hopeful. Waiting lists can be good, especially at JU. The proce is pretty hefty since it is a private college and some people may not be able to get the financing that they are needing.

As discouraging as the letter was, and it really was like a kick in the stomach. I have decided not to give up on my dream. I will be a nurse one day, soon. Since this was an accelerated program which I was unaware of when I applied, perhaps it was not meant to be for me in the warped speed of nursing education:uhoh3:. Although I am sure I would have been so busy I would have not noticed but, if it was meant for me then it would have happened. I applaud those of you who were selected, and wish you the best luck in your studies:yeah:.

I am going to apply again for the transfer program and hope it goes well, also was considering FSCJ and Chamberlain College of Nursing. I just want to actually get into the field and cant wait till that day happens for me as well as all of us not chosen this term. Good luck yall.

Hey I was going to go to Chamberlain as well, but although I have a AA from FSCJ, Chamberlain still require you to take a bunch of filler classes. Like another Humanity as well as another Speech class which is absolutely unnecessary:confused:. I understand that for them as with many institutions its all about the money, but repeating classes so everyone would be on the same level was irritating and not to mention expensive(tuition same as JU, almost). Chamberlain is not equipped for transfer students with degrees, they do not have a program for transfer students with all of their prerequisite:eek:. So be prepared to be double talked and convince you do not have enough classes to go directly into nursing classes;).

Just keep your hopes up , because the moment you lose hope is the moment you fail , make sure you guys re-apply for the next term as well as to other nursing program in Jax . If nursing is what you want to do and study , then there will be nothing to stop you :)

Good luck next term , I wish we could all make it !

Just got my letter too, and am wait listed. Maybe next year

I still havent received anything. Which is weird because for summer I was told I was the top candiate for the waiting list. Now I'm not even qualifying? I am so confused. I called up there and I was told they are still behind and still sending out letters. But on a good note. I want to Congratulate those who are selected and Good luck!!!!!!!

Ok, this is overkill.... I got another letter telling me I am on the waiting list. Just when you get over the disappointment...snail mail to the rescue. :lol2:

Hello everyone I am new to this, but I applied to JU as well. I also received a letter for the 2010 Traditional program wait list. Does anyone know how many waiting list spots there are?
