I beefed up my summer course load and plan to take MAT 118, COM 102, and IVY 104, all online. Anyone else taking these?

Anyone know when orentation usually is? Hopefully not to long after acceptance letters. I am so ready to start I hope I am one of the lucky ones.

I would guess in November or December, going by my when my friend went to hers. SpacyStacy???????????? Help...can you give us a better time frame for orientation????????????

They way it worked this past semester at Lawrence is we got our letters. A couple days late, but way earlier than other campuses did. We had plenty of time to decide if we wanted to accept/reject. We had to call either way and let them know. The deadline was a couple days before Orientation I believe.

okay, you all gave me the courage to call about the letters at fort wayne. i spoke the the head of the nursing program and she said.............................................

drum roll please.......................

the letters will go out

today or tomorrow!

hey everyone....

empty mailbox for me today also.....after reading everyone's posts i too went ahead and called lawrence campus. the recorded message said the letters would start going out on sept 30, and if we didn't hear by oct 15th to contact the nursing office. i feel pretty good about that....but waiting still sucks.....:typing nn.....no way!!!! i think i would have stroked out by now....my heart and prayers are with you!!!!:rolleyes:

nicu.....i am so there with the distraction thing. after checking the mail i forced myself to stay outside and weed, etc. so i wouldn't go straight in for a gallon of ice cream!!!!:no:

imagine, i am so glad you actually called and talked to a live person!!! congrats on your "pre-news".....it will be a race to see who can post their news first.....:chuckle chubsta- i hope we can see each other on the lawrence campus in the spring!!!:wink2:

i received the worst news today. i got up the nerve to call the nursing department in gary and they told me that their letters would not be sent out until "sometime" in november!!!!! can u even believe it? all this time i been freaking out waiting at my mailbox for no reason. unbelievable! :banghead: i need a drink:grn::beer:

they did not state why and she seemed to rush off the phone! i will probably give another call tomorrow and ask why because it seems unfair. why would it take so long?:argue:

i really hate that, i know they probably have a lot of people calling about the same thing, but i seem to get the brush off a lot at school no matter what i am calling about.:crying2: so sorry!

maybe it is something like they are trying to see how many they can accept, or they got a lot of applicants. let's hope they are trying to squeeze in some more people! again, good luck!
