Hello everyone! Is anyone here attending Ivy Tech State college in Indiana? I've already taken the PSB for the LPN program, but was thinking maybe I should take the TEAS to be accepted into the RN program. I have all the pre-reqs done. The cut-off is Feb 1st, and no one is at the college until Tuesday because of MLK day. Just wondering if it's too late in the month to take it. I don't know how full the test days are, or if they're holding anymore. Ok, thanks for the help, Jenny:)

Hello Jenny! I took both the NET and the PSB, got accepted in LPN, but not RN. I too have all the RN pre reqs done, so I figure I am just ahead of the game when I go for the LPN to RN program. I am not sure what the TEAS is like, I have not taken it, to my understanding this is the first year they have used it for admission testing. I can tell you from experience, NET testing was always full. It depends on which campus you go to take the test. Indy has certain days you can take the test, Columbus used to have the NET computerized so you could take it anytime. Call around on Tuesday and see what your options are, and good luck!

Be aware there are about 500 qualified applicants at Ivy Tech for each available slot - it is sort of like winning the lottery to get into any campus at all. Plus in some counties they only want to accept students who are getting full financial and state aid - no part timers who have already taken alot of the basic classes. But good luck - maybe you will win the lottery!

are there really 500 applicants for every 1 spot? I just find it hard to believe those 500 are all qualified. As in they have all their pre req classes done..
Does doing really well on the Teas test put you at the top of the list?
