Ivy Tech Spring 2011 Applicants

Hey, just seeing who's on here that will be applying with me. I'm applying to Muncie, Kokomo, and Ft. Wayne. I feel like this is all I think about already. I'm retaking a couple of pre reqs this summer to improve my score. I've already taken the teas but will probably retake it as I only received an 83. I've also attended all the nursing info sessions. What is everybody else doing to prepare? I'm so paranoid about forgetting something! I'm looking forward to talking with people in the same boat. Or if anyone who has already applied wants to share advice, I'd gladly listen!

I took my CPR class this morning it was $30 and it was done by a fireman his name is Jim McCloud if you want his number just let me know

Where did u take the class?? And yes please pass info...this is going to be a crazy few mths! I need to quit a job and move home..lol

Today we had class at the Hammond Civic Center. I don't know if he does it anywhere else but he does do it whenever you need it. His number is 219-629-3948. The class is not long about 2 hours and is more hands on than anything which I liked. Hope this helps!!

Just wanted to know if you all were going to mail your acceptance forms or hand deliver them? I"m thinking of hand delivering mine :D

Thanks for the CPR info. I have a class tomorrow so I am going to take the form in then. I'll ask them what that CPR class is about. I know there are different kinds and we may have to take the one for healthcare providers. Maybe someone will have more info and post. I'll let you know what I find out.

I wanted to but I'm in Indy....so my mom is going to mail it and I'll call Mon and Tues to make sure they get it! I'm so excited!! Ready to get this all started! We need to meet somewhere on Nov 8th before the orientation;)

I have posted b4 and was less than a point from cutoff in Indy for LPN I really was wondering who was declining Indy for another campus could you post if you have declined Indy for another campus please just so I can get an idea how many alternate potitions are coming avalible Thanks in advance:tku::tku::tku:

A poster named Marcy was declining Indy LPN for Gary. She usually posts so she can probably tell you more.
