Ivy Tech Spring 2011 Applicants

Hey, just seeing who's on here that will be applying with me. I'm applying to Muncie, Kokomo, and Ft. Wayne. I feel like this is all I think about already. I'm retaking a couple of pre reqs this summer to improve my score. I've already taken the teas but will probably retake it as I only received an 83. I've also attended all the nursing info sessions. What is everybody else doing to prepare? I'm so paranoid about forgetting something! I'm looking forward to talking with people in the same boat. Or if anyone who has already applied wants to share advice, I'd gladly listen!

I live in Crown Point. It doesn't say anything about orientation. There is a mandatory registration on Nov. 8 from 10-12. It says we will register for our classes then and get physical forms etc. There is a whole list of stuff.

Cool. I'm hoping for mine tomorrow;) I just get nervous when others get it and mine didn't come. My friend also got into Valpo and Gary, but she is declining Gary. Congrats again! Fingers crossed..if I get in we will be classmates;)

To the Valpo applicants - I was accepted at Gary so I am declining my seat in the Valpo ASN program. Somebody is moving up. Good luck.

I had a 211. A friend of mine also was accepted to the ASN and she had a 205. I hope you and Marcie hear soon. The waiting is horrible. What were your scores? Are you guys in Northwest Indiana? I had the impression Marcie was around Indy.

My score was a 208.9. I live in Hammond. I hope we will be classmates!! :D Have you heard any other scores besides ours maybe around the 190's?

I have a 204, and currently I am running between indy and chesterton. So I apply up north bc my family is there and I'm getting married in May in LaPorte. Your friend got in with 205 then I have a chance!

With a 208 you must be in! :yeah:I don't know any other scores that were accepted just mine and my friends and they wouldn't tell us the range. I hope your letter comes tomorrow or I would call and tell them your score and that you haven't received your letter yet.

I agree. A very good chance. I wish they would give people at least a ballpark range. I hope you hear tomorrow.
