Ivy Tech Spring 2011 Applicants

Hey, just seeing who's on here that will be applying with me. I'm applying to Muncie, Kokomo, and Ft. Wayne. I feel like this is all I think about already. I'm retaking a couple of pre reqs this summer to improve my score. I've already taken the teas but will probably retake it as I only received an 83. I've also attended all the nursing info sessions. What is everybody else doing to prepare? I'm so paranoid about forgetting something! I'm looking forward to talking with people in the same boat. Or if anyone who has already applied wants to share advice, I'd gladly listen!

Sry, all I know is the marion cut off was around 178 for this past summer start. I know its not your campus but its the only transition number I've heard. Good luck!

Dear fellow fort wayners, I called the office today. They asked me to pass the info on: RN letters will not be sent out this week...... She said we should get them by the end of next week.

O and she said she knew what the cut off was but she couldn't tell me a thing about the scores...

Gosh this wait is taking its toll! do you know if they send out rn and lpn together or if lpn will be even later? Thanks for calling!!

Sorry, i didn't ask if LPN would be sent with RN. But she didnt seem to want to answer any of my questions, I asked if they sent denial letters to Rn at the same time but she didn't know. seriously its like theyre torturing us lol whats the harm in telling us the cut off if they already know. *sigh*

No kidding! And if they already know, why aren't the letters being sent???! At least we have ppl to talk to who understand! My husbands like, whats the big deal? Either you get in or you don't! Ugh!!!

ya I know what ya mean! its so frustrating. Hopefully well both get in and have nothing to worry about. especially with all of the new changes thats happening ( New TEAS new math class) as if they don't make it hard enough to get in.

I onlt applied to lpn but id be smiling if I had a 201! Let me know today when mail comes. I'm stuck at work and can't ck until after 4!

Someone on the IVT forum said she called Lawrence yesterday and the letters had already been sent out! Maybe today will be the day for Lawrence!!! Post ASAP! :)
