Hi everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for all of us applying to the RN/LPN Nursing Program for the 2017 Spring Semester!
I am currently in the process of studying super hard for my TEAS re-take. I took it last Saturday and got a whopping 70 I was really disappointed in that. My current points if I were to apply right now are 121/160 so I don't think that is enough for the RN program. Hopefully I do alot better the second time around! At least I know what to expect now on this terrible test! lol I plan on applying to Indy and Bloomington campuses. Good Luck to us all!

Hi guys! I was wondering if you think I should retake my teas I am applying with all As in my pre reqs and I got an 80 on my teas overall but when the sub scores were added I now have a 79.3 I am applying to Gary and Valpo for the spring asn program... Any thoughts???? I'm a nervous wreck oh and my total would be 139.3/160...
That's definitely a good score.
Your thread has been moved to the Nursing Schools / Colleges forum where the other school specific discussions are. We hope you will receive additional responses in this new location.
Hi everyone! I just applied a few nights ago for the Spring 2017 semester at Bloomington, Terre Haute, and Evansville. I got a 76.7% on my TEAS test and I had a B in APHY 101 and Psycholgy and an A in English with a score of 122.5 or something like that out of 160. I applied for both LPN and ASN. Has anyone heard of someone getting in with that low of a score? Thank you in advance!
Hi everyone! I graduated high school in May 2015. I went to IUPUI for a year and then decided I wanted to take a different route so I ended up at Ivy Tech! I just applied for spring 2017 with a TEAS score of 86.7% so overall I have 141/160 points. I applied to Terre Haute, Indianapolis, and Lafayette because I found living situations in each of those towns if I got accepted into any of them. I'm really nervous and ready for the end of the month to hear hopefully some very good news! Good luck to you all! I'm sending good vibes your way!

My comment is not meant to discourage anyone from pursuing all avenues to get to their goals. Her opinion is based on my personal career goals and other school options. Fingers crossed that we all get in to the program of our choice rather BSN, Asn, or lpn. I have a degree in chemistry so I have also applied to Accelerated BSN programs in my current state.
