Ivy tech LPN - RN Transition summer 2016

U.S.A. Indiana

Published

I plan on applying to the LPN-RN transition for summer 2016. The deadline is feb1st. I've seen everyone make posts for it for every year except this year? Does that mean nobody is applying ??? Lol. Just wanted to know what grades / Teas score everyone got.

I had

APH101 A

ENGL A

PSYCH B

got a low TEAS score, planning on retaking it in a few days. Very nervous abt TEAS. Not sure how people are getting freaking 80's & 90's, but kudo's to you guys, seriously. I'm jealous..

Anyways, the majority of my corequisites are completed. I'm just one class from being done :)

No prob :) & I'm doing the same !!

Thanks. I applied to the South Bend location. Good luck to you guys.

Hello everyone. Glad this thread was created. I applied at the Crown Point campus, formerly Gary. I took the Teas x 2. First time I bombed. 2nd time not much better. I got proficient. Just a 60. Very disappointing. The chemistry killed me. Got A's in psych and eng, a B in anatomy. I'm very discouraged. Oh well, we will see. Good luck everyone.

Hello everyone. Just to put somw of you at ease, I graduated the transition program in Marion in 2014. My friend who also got in had a significantly low score on her TEAS and got in no problem. This program is not nearly as sought after as the traditional program. I am already working on my BSN from Purdue! Good luck everyone!!

Thank You. That's awesome your working on your BSN. That is my plan after I finish. Purdue Calumet.

Chemistry was my pit fall too. Ugh, terrible! I was anticipating a better score on my second attempt and then BAM! Another low score.

Today I hand delivered my Lawrence and Columbus applications, and I mailed "priority rush" my Anderson and Bloomington applications, as well. Continued prayers for everyone on here!

I got a 66 on my TEAS, and I have all A's in my pre-req's.

I hope that is enough for you to get in. I look at the scores ppl are getting for the traditional program and their TEAS scores are high.., idk how on earth they get these scores.

Good luck to you too girl! I think maybe you should apply to one more place also, but def. praying for you also.

I just dropped my application off to the Crown Point campus for summer 2016. I am reading all the comments and I am truly nervous just as everyone else is. I attempted to take the TEAS V test twice with my first score being 61.3% and my second 74%. I completed all pre-req courses receiving an A in A&P and B's in Eng and Psych. This wait for an acceptance letter is going to be something else smh but imma keep all hope alive and stay prayerful for a spot cause lord knows I need it! Anybody else applying to the Crown Point campus??
