Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....
Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?
I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.

called valpo again. this time, she said the letters were sent out on friday. let's hope tomorrow or thursday they arrive! it is so nerve racking! looking at all these high scores from the other campuses is really getting me down, but i am trying to remain confident with my 203! (which in my eyes is an awesome score!)
well if i do not get anything in the mail tomorrow.....i am going to call them again and see if they can give me numbers or something!
i have a question for those of you that applied to multiple campuses......did you submit copies of your high school transcripts to each campus?? im so worried that i messed up,i was a lawrence student but transfered to columbus.so indy has my transcripts. am i screwed??? please please respond someone :smackingf
gatlinburg- I tried to get numbers out of them today with no luck! She said they cannot tell over the phone.... I really hope it comes tomorrow and that we all get in! But, my 203 worries me.
And about the HS transcripts: I was told that the HS transcripts only have to be turned in once you get into the program, not when just applying. So, I think you are fine. If you want though, I would check as every region is different, but this is what I was told at Valpo.

I bet you are in with a 211. That's an awesome score! I have a 203. I only took the TEAS once thinking I would be fine with an 80 and all A's in prereqs....now I am scared. I'm hoping for ASN but PN would be just as awesome!

Haha i freaked out about that too when i applied. They wont even accept your high school transcripts until AFTER your accepted at valpo. So im assuming your going to be fine.
THANK YOU!! thank you.......:lol2:when i turned my packet in they asked me about my transcripts but i asked if they needed to be turned in by the app. deadline and she said "no,just as soon as you can".....well,i spaced it!! i feel better now,thanks so much:yeah:

I hated the TEAS test. I am not taking it again. I thought getting an 88 on the teas was 10 times harder than getting A's in my pre reqs. I cant believe theres people on here talking about how they got a 95 or 96....how the heck do you do that!? they gotta be full of it. haha

I know! To tell you the truth, by the end of the test I think I just stopped thinking,; I was just done and didn't want to look back. I had time to take it a second or a third time if I wanted, but I just didn't. I just wanted to be done with it. I did what I could with barely a study session over it and I was quite proud of myself. But, when I see these 90's scores I do shake a bit and think maybe I should have retaken it. Oh well, guess we will see soon!!
