  1. Got my acceptance letter for Valpo PN today. I am still going to turn it down though and take my acceptance into Respiratory Practitioning ( I'm still soooo excited about it!!!). Going to put it in the mail tomorrow and give someone else the spot! Good luck to everyone! I hope good news awaits you all!
  2. Thank you and best of luck to you Gatlinburg!!
  3. Thank you jjones! You couldn't be more right....everything does happen for a reason, and I believe the reason is my brother. This is truly a dream come true and I couldn't be more happy.
  4. Well, I may not have made it into the ASN at Valpo, but I got the best news today....I was accepted into the Respiratory Practitioner Program!!! I was surprised to see another Ivy Tech letter so soon!! I am on cloud 9! So, I am taking the RT Program acceptance and going to give up my place in PN IF, IF I did make PN at Valpo (203). I feel so blessed right now to have been chosen to become a healer.....this Respiratory Program means so much to me since my brother suffers from Pulmonary Hypertension....I can't wait for the day we all graduate and quite possibly work together in helping people with you !!!!!!
  5. I completely agree with you! PTA is on the right track. Nursing should learn from them!!!!
  6. thanks for the info! wow, that's a high cutoff for lpn 204/205!
  7. So sorry to hear that! I feel your pain...I had a 203 and didn't get in Valpo, but I guess the cutoff was 208 there. Did you apply to PN as well?
  8. Hey everyone! For those of you whom have received letters for ASN AND PN, what seems to be the cutoff for PN?? I know everywhere is different but......I'm just trying to keep a heads up! :monkeydance::monkeydance:
  9. wow! i really didn't expect valpo's cutoff to be so high. is 208 the highest cutoff so far? and yep, that is what i figured about the pn. so at least we can relax for a little while and leave the mailman alone!!! kinda scared about lpn if 208 was rn cutoff!
  10. just saw on the ivy tech board that a 206 did not get into valpo asn so it must be higher than that. also if anyone finds out when pn letters go out for valpo let me know! i tried to call but i am sure they are swamped and just want to turn off the phones!
  11. Well I had a 203 and it was a no and a 204 was a no so anything 205 and above is possible!!
  12. Hoping for the best for you! They better not have lost it!
  13. Well, congrats to all those who made it into Valpo! Hopefully my I am in with Gary Respiratory or Valpo PN! 203 BETTER GET ME INTO PN!!
  14. Wow, well at least I know for sure now that my 203 didn't get me in. Oh, well...I am sure we got PN then.
