Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....
Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?
I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it :) and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.

I called Valpo last week, I believe it was Wednesday or Thursday and they said that the letters were being sent out that day. I then called again on Friday just to "make sure" and they had said they were sent out. Let today please be the day so us Valpo applicants can rest a bit easier tonight and begin to enjoy our summer!!! I feel so terrible for those at the other campuses that have to wait...it sure isn't easy on the nerves!!!
I, like many others, am waiting on a letter from Valpo. This morning I was leaving to take my son to school and saw the mailman down the street, I turned around and waited for him only to see NO letter from Valpo. It sucks!
I applied to Gary and Valpo. Anyone else applied to Gary? I called and was told they returned from vacation today, so no letters from Gary for at least a couple weeks! CONGRATULATIONS to all of you who have recieved your acceptance letters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im sure you'll get in with that score. Im praying I make it in with a 204! I only took the TEAS twice. The nursing dept advised me to go ahead and apply with my second TEAS score and not take it a third time. She said I should be okay with that score. I will be so upset if I dont get the RN when I could have taken the TEAS a third time to try and up my score. Maybe I should have went against their judgement.

This is getting weird. Mail never takes this long. If they sent them on Thursday, we should have received them by Saturday. I live in Valpo. Mmmmm......
Hey Janex39, I could not take it anymore and thought that I would give it a try and call up there to the school. And I got the answer that I was not interested in hearing. Whomever I spoke with said that letters for South Bend would not be mailed out until sometime this week. And the ONLY letters going out will be the RN letters. LPN letters will not be mailed out until later in June. So, with that being said, looks like it wont be until later in the week or sometime even next week if they dont get them out until Friday. UGH! I am seriously thinking about calling up there and asking if they can tell me one way or another what the scores were for the programs. We will see if I can get enough courage to do it. LOL
Cabana4 I cant believe it!!! This is torture! I wonder why its taking so long? No wonder I was disappointed when I looked in my mailbox today!! LOL
me too. waiting for valpo is going to give me a panic attack. they said they sent the letters last week, but either they didn't send them when they said, or they all got lost in the mail. grr... stalking my mail lady today. i also applied for asn and lpn. good luck.

I just spoke to someone at Ft. Wayne Ivy Tech and she said the 1st stack of letters were mailed today. I asked if there would be only acceptance letters or rejection letters too, she said just acceptance letters then when they get all the letters returned as to who wants to be in the program then they will send the declination letters to those who did not make the program...so looks like maybe more waiting.

jjones.....that is weird!! i wish they would email us and let us know like they did for the rt program in lafayette!
called valpo again. this time, she said the letters were sent out on friday. let's hope tomorrow or thursday they arrive! it is so nerve racking! looking at all these high scores from the other campuses is really getting me down, but i am trying to remain confident with my 203! (which in my eyes is an awesome score!)
