IV certification for LPNs

Hello everyone,

I'm an LPN and I live in the area of fort Lauderdale, FL. I'm looking to take the IV certification course, but don't know exactly where to go. Do you guys know of an institution where I can go to take the course.?

I am wondering where a Michigan LPN can take I.V.Cert. training, to work in Ohio. Wanting to move there.

I am from Ft. Lauderdale - born and raised. I moved to North Florida, after completing the LPN program at Sheridan Technical in Hollywood. I got my IV therapy certification there. You can try checking out the colleges, such as Broward College, Palm Beach State, and even check out Sheridan Technical. The colleges usually have continuing education courses for LPNs looking to advance their knowledge base. I know my college up here, Florida Gateway, in Lake City, offers the IV therapy certification course for LPNs. GOOD LUCK!!

When I lived down there I was able to do it at nursing unlimited by Miami Gardens close to the stadium

I went to Atlantic technical center. Check it out. It's in coconut creek.

Your facility may sign you up for a class. LTCs usually have a pharmacy that will certify you. If you can't do it like that you may have to pay for the class but it's well worth the cost. Good luck!

McFatter (Davie), Atlantic Tech (Coconut Creek) and Sheridan (Hollywood) all offer the course for under $200. I currently attend McFatter for LPN and they let us know last week about this course.
