It's been 4 weeks now and no results yet, is this normal?

Hello fellas, It's been 4 weeks now since I took my Nclex-pn and still have not received anything from BON, imagine my anxiety every single day checkin the mail and nothing is there. Im in CA and this seems forever, is this normal? Most people receive theirs in only 2 to 3 weeks the longest but 4 weeks is a way to lose your sanity. Called the BON twice and all I got is unfriendly rep that doesnt give any info and an answering machine that never return my calls. Is there anybody there that has been in the same situation waiting this long? I am thinking I failed tho because it stopped at 96 and Im not very confident how I did. Please reply, Im really getting depressed. Thanks.

California handles their LVN program quite different than most other states, and there is nothing to speed things up. You actually do not even pay for the license until after you have passed your exam. Many do wait about 4 weeks for this, and please consider that this is the busiest time of the year with most programs graduating.

I would wait until after the weekend, and then try phoning them again.

I have never had one problem getting thru to them when I have had a question about something, sorry that you got a rude person on the other end.

That was very unusual getting someone rude at the CABON. I have had to call several times and they have always been pleasant. There even was a man that walked from office to office looking for my records that no one seemed able to locate. Sorry about that.
