I found out this morning that (as you all predicted) I PASSED!!! YAY!! I did a search on the Virginia BON website and lo and behold, my name showed up! Thank you, all, for putting up with my nuttiness yesterday when the self-doubt was creeping in ... I kept telling myself I wasn't going to be one of THOSE people, but then I was! LOL!!
WOO HOOO!!!
lunah,
congratulations to you! i'm like a lot of others on here and tend to "lurk", following the accomplishments of fellow nursing students. you, suesquatch, txspadequeen, and many others are complete role models, and i have gotten back on the wagon in regards to my studies. the tips that have been given are very helpful. gotta get some of these "preliminary" courses out of the way so i can get on to the nursing courses. again, congratulations! knew you could do it!

When do you start working as an RN?
I'm already orienting in the ER! :) My first day as an "RN Applicant" (RNA) was 7/22. In Virginia, you can practice as an RNA for 90 days after being issued your ATT.
Now I just need to remember to sign all my documentation as RN and not RNA when I go back to work on Tuesday!
