When it came down to the week of my test , i focused mainly on the Q Bank , my goal was to do the Q bank 2 times over , I stopped doing the Saunders book , because its not really about content , alot of it was what are you going to do ,
Always Assess before you Implement , ( if you can go to implement first then go but if you have an assessment that needs to be done , do that first ) if you go right to implement look for the stem in question and then ask yourself if i did this would i cause harm to my patient ? if the answer is YES then you cannot do it , then go to your next answer and then ask yourself why am i picking this answer ?
The other thing we were taught in school and this works if you are stuck , Airway, Breathing, Circulation , Pain and Safety ! Trust me it works .
Ialso used my white erase board that they gave me , I would write 1234 and then cross out ones i could eliminate and then i focused on the two answers that were left and i applied the above technique .
I hope this works for you , go slow it took me 2 hours to do 75 questions and by question 3 i got my first select all that apply .
When it came to meds , and if i didnt know what the med was i looked at the most life threatening and picked that as my answer , i also looked at the answers to try and define what the med was if i didnt know it .
I used Saunders CD and did pharmacology , i would do the quiz ten questions at a time and did 50 just so i wasnt burned out .
the challenge with the NCLEX is choosing the BEST answer ! Its tricking but you can do it .
Trust me I was scared , but as soon as i sat down i made a promise to myself that i would not be returning here to take this test again .
If yo have anymore questions let me know ...
I wish you luck and believe in yourself you can do it . Look at my other post on how prepared !

When retaking the test, did you have to resubmit your original fingerprint receipt and proof of education or CST use the information on hand?
