Jul 5, 201312 yr Question from a - hope to become a nursing student- what/ how do you want / shouldnew interns to do? Or act?
Jul 5, 201312 yr All input will greatly appreciated. I don't want to get on the wrong foot with a mentor ..
Jul 5, 201312 yr It isn't the new nursing people, it is the new docs..at least new nurses have a preceptor, these guys are let loose! We always tell them...look, this is like no where you have been or will be, make sure you ask us anything!!!
Jul 6, 201312 yr Author Experts Nursing interns usually are well aware of their "knowledge deficiencies". MDs just graduated from Med School, and DON'T know what they don't know. It's often our (the RNs) job to clue them in, and not kill them @ the same time. And not let them harm a pt in the process. We're not worried abt you, Merdogan!
Jul 7, 201312 yr Thank you! :) Please continue to update me if you remember anything that you would want your clinical nursing students to do/act?
Happy July!
