I can totally understand how you're feeling because that's what I am afraid of as well. I am starting in the fall for an ADN program and extremely terrified of being jobless. I too myself don't have much hands on experience, just volunteering. what I can suggest is tell/ask anyone you see( family, friends, acquaintance, former co-workers, former friends, fellow students, school where you graduated from) that you are desperately in need of a job. Hopefully someone will recommend you or hire you.. lots of luck!!!!. I wish you the best.

Yes, I got the textbook today and you're right it does say to log into blackboard. Maybe they're going to post it later in the month, since some of us (like me) just got the textbook today :)..

What do you mean homework? All I know is that we will be required to attend a "library blackboard session" date to be announced.. BTW did you guys all receive your nursing packet? I haven't mine nor had any idea about untill a friend called me today. Tomorrow is the last day to submit your application to enter into nursing program for fall2013 ..

I don't know on who is responsible for changing majors. Yours haven't changed on cuny first?

Congratulations!!! I'm glad you brought this topic up because it is one of my nightmares that I wont be able to get a job once I finish school (hopefully!). Because I don't /wont have any clinical experience besides what I will have in school (clinical rotations). Please share more info on finding your job. Congrats again..
