Calm down, honey. It's ok. I made it through nursing school, as did others before you. It is hard work, but I didn't think it was unreasonable. Almost all of my instructors were wonderful, and were more than willing to explain a concept or take the extra time to talk to you about something. Plus, you'll all ways have All nurses where you can come for help and support. :icon_hug:

It's only as bad as you make it. I went back as a 2nd career. I think it takes

determination more than anything. If you are determined and work hard, you'll have no problem.

:yeahthat: I couldn't have said it better myself. YOU CAN DO IT!

Nursing school is about hard work, studying studying studying, sacrifice and if you truly want to be a nurse... you will love it!! you will meet people going through the same things and make life long friends. As for the competitive people.. well just ignore them!! they make themselves look bad!

sorry to say, but yes, nursing school sucks. Why sugar coat it? HOWEVER, it is certainly doable. I'm not the smartest guy in the world and I made it through, even did the RN to BSN thing afterward.

Like others have said, though...it takes a lot of hard work, DISCIPLINE, and more hard work. You have to study, study, study. Honestly, when I was in school, it was a major rarity that I went out to have fun, because I was at home studying or at study groups.

The end result: a TRULY rewarding career, a pretty dang good salary, and a job that has limitless versatility. Love my job, and wouldn't have traded my nursing degree for the world!
