yea i was totally freaking out. i just really want to excel that’s all. however i am the biggest procrastinator ever known to man, so i know that i will have to straighten that out. thanks for all your supportive comments!!!

i understand that they are going eliminate the lpn position altogether. do you think they can or will?

as a nurse (healthcare professional) do you feel that you receive the appropriate amount of respect within the healthcare community? if not why do you think other fail to view nurses as being equally worthy of that kind of respect that drs receive? would you say that most drs respect nurses?

well obviously in this field every patient that walks through the door doesn't walk out. so how did you deal with loss of your first patient? how do you deal with it now? what is it like having to talk to that patience's loved ones? any advice for new nurses?

I do Not have a clue as to what I am getting into!!!! I'm so afraid that I may not make it all the way through nursing school. It's terribly intimidating and ridiculously competitive!! What's a girl to do?? Is it REALLY that bad???

Hello, I'm sure you all have "been there and done that", when it comes to the teas test. However I need your help!! I have been out of school for several years now and I have just decided to pursue nursing, simple right? Wrong! I have to take the Teas test in order to enter into the program. The only problem is that although I was an honors math student, I have been exposed to a math class in a very long time. I need tips, website, hope and whatever you can give me. I NEED to pass!!

well as far as the prerequisite, there are none. it’s a one year accelerated lpn program. so that’s why i was wondering what would be the best way to prepare myself.

i agree with all of the above i’m sure you will do just fine. however i do understand your concern though. keep in touch let me know how things turn out for you.

hello ling07, this is actually my first reply ever i’m a newbie. nonetheless you and i are in the same boat. i’m currently enrolled in a cna course myself. in may i’m supposed to start my lpn classes if i am accepted. i didn’t realize how competitive pre nursing school is. however i’m falling more and more in love with this field, how about you? how do you like the course so far? how far would you like to go in this field? sorry so many questions i’m just excited!! hope to hear from you soon!
