It Is Possible! I Finally Passed 4th Try!

Published

Hello all,

I just wanted to write a quick note to all those NCLEX test takers who have failed several times, and even the first time test takers who are suffering of that terrible test anxiety before taking the exam.

I graduated May 2006 and it has been a loooong haul for me. I failed the NCLEX-RN exam the first 2 times with 265 questions and the third time with 75 questions. I recently attempted the NCLEX-RN exam last thursday and found out yesterday that I passed w/ 75 questions! I was beyond excited. I really did not know what to do with myself. I cried and laughed all at the same time. haha I got discouraged at times but I NEVER GAVE UP!

So please, to all of you who have gone thru the similar experience that I have, just remember NEVER GIVE UP! There is hope. With God, all things are possible. Just pray pray pray and study study study. It is soooo worth it! I have waited soo soo long for this and I finally got it. My prayers were answered. I literally locked myself in my room 4-6hrs a day, sat in front of my computer, and studied studied studied. I neglected my friends, my family but they all understood. Now I can throw those books in the dungeon to never be found again.

Everyone's turn will come and I think that maybe it just wasn't my time yet. But finally it is! And I am so relieved.

NEVER GIVE UP. KEEP TRYING. YOU WILL GET IT! YOU CAME TOO FAR TO GIVE UP!

Good luck to all of you. :balloons:

thank you for posting this. Your my inspiration. I have taken the nclex-pn 2x. I graduated 4 years ago. I have not gotten the courage to retake. TOday I read you post and I made a promise to myself that I am going to do it finally. THank you....and congrats:balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons:BTW what did you do this time that changed your results.....?

I did the NCSBN review course.....Worked like a charm! Kaplan and all those other methods just didnt do the job for me. I needed something more in depth and interactive and that was NCSBN review. I also got some medication flashcards and carried them everywhere with me. Pharmacology is a HUGE portion now on the test so they really worked. Good luck to you. You WILL get it just NEVER give up. Take care

Hi...Like you I have also graduated in May 2006. We had a small class of fifteen. Almost all of my classmates are RNs now. I have recently failed my second try (11/21/07) and was feeling very down. I thank you for sharing your experience. You helped me not to feel junk and that I have hope. Like you I think I have to lock myself away from all of my distractions and study hard (family & friends). I look forward in throwing away all the accumalating study material that surrounds me at my desk. Congratulations in your success RN. Mahalo from Hawaii

Thank you once again by the way my name is carla and i graduated from Brown Mackie College and i went to become a LPN
