Hi Everyone,I am an Israeli RN with 2 years experience. I have signed a contract with
a cornerstone hospital in Austin TX last October. it is a 2 years contract with 22.45$ an hour. Relocation package is not great.
Since then the hospital has changed management and 3 fascilities closed.
I am terrified and need your opinion - are the terms offered reasonable?
should I worry about the fact hospital has changed hands?
and what is going on with the retrograsion? they tell me it should take about 12 months untill my visa is approved - makes sense?
Thank you for your input
If the hospital has changed hands are they still willing to petition you? There is a thread on current immigration issues and really no one knows how long retrogresion will be but hopefully we should see some movement by the summer just not sure what sort of movement we will see

Just remembering a recent post of an RN from Israel informing that her consul interview is scheduled on 8th March, 2007.
I wonder there is no retrogression fo you, if your country of birth is same as per above!
