Is WGU RN-BSN similar to Excelsior?

I must have been mistaken, because i feel rushed.

The mentor asked why i did not submit Biochemistry task 1,when i only started the course April 25.

She has me as taking the course for a month, but it will take me at least 2 months,as i work 2 full time jobs.

That does not sound like a self paced program to me.

I have only been in the program a month, and already finished Care of the Older Adult in 2 weeks.

Most posters on Allnurses and other blogs i read were saying Nutrition took them almost 2 months.
The nutrition course took me two weeks to slowly complete. This was while working 48 hours per week on the midnight shift. All you need is a week to review, and you should be able to pass.

I completed a Nutrition course in my Lpn program,so i don't think nutrition would be that difficult(I hope not anyway).

I did nutrition in about a week and that was before they made it easier.. no way would that take two months!! :)

Specializes in Hospice, LTC.
My mentor gave me 3 weeks for Care of the Older adult,so that one was finished 1 week early.

Humanities is a subject i really like, and since i like reading about history as a hobby I should be able to knock that out within 2 weeks.

I actually clicked on Intro to Humanities by accident and looked around some, and the course mentor called me and introduced himself on my phone voicemail. I hope he does that not think i started the course.

For the courses you are enrolled in at the start of your term, you can access, work on, and take assessments/submit tasks at any time in your term. They generally recommend focusing on one course at a time, but the dates that your mentor assigned for each course are just guidelines. As long as you finish 12cu in your term, you can do them in any order you like.
