Published

Please let me know if this is true a co;worker told me a small letter is good news and a BIG letter means you failed. I don't want to be afaird of the mail. Icall home and ask who ever is home to check the mail, now no one wants to check it and tell me if there is a big letter!!

 Thanks for all your stories. I just have to hold my breath and open the one I get. At least I wont know for sure by the size.

I have waited 3 weeks, took 85 q on the LVN test and I'm sick of my life being on hold for NCLEX results. I must remember I can handle all things from HE who strengthens me!!

With my LPN my pass letter was small. Just a letter saying congrats. That was 20 years ago. Now when I passed my RN a few months ago I got a big letter. It had my congrats letter, the lovely pic from pearson, my license, and then a framable certificate stating that I am an RN.

LPN > small > passed.

Years later:

RN > small > passed.

I got a huge envelop and it says that I failed. Big envelope contains forms for Reapplication/ retake for u to fill up again. --State of California..huhuhuhu

OMG! I did the exact same thing! I threw the BIG envelope on the ground and ran to my room. My husband very calmly brought it to me and told me I was being silly and to just open it. Sure enough, I'd been lied to. All was well!

LOL

I would have done the exact same thing too!

Sometimes I just want to kick my bf because he can be so calm about things. ;)

i got a small letter in the mail which got me very excited, when i opened it up and seen the results i was devistated, failed.....

I just realized how lucky I was!!! In Ohio there is no letter to wait for, just your license. By 4:30pm the day following my exam it was posted on the Ohio Board of Nursings website. Before testing, but after application, you were listed as "pending" and after you passed the NCLEX-RN you were listed as "active." I will say sitting in front of the computer pressing "refresh" button every 5 seconds was crazy, but I can not imagine having to wait a week or so for the mail! God love ya'!
