Is there such thing as Radiologic Nurse?

If the answer is yes, can you please provide more details? I am just curious. I am about to finally start attending a nursing program, after all these years of doing pre-requisites, but I am also on the waiting list for Radiography, so I've been wondering whether I can do both. Your input is appreciated. :yeah:

Yes!

Cath lab is a perfect example.

Telemetry or other critical needs patients need procedures or x-rays as well. By having a nurse in radiology to assist in sedation or to continue to care for the needs of a patient who might have a complex drip, it frees up the floor nurse to return to the floor and continue to care for her/his other patients.
