Is There Any Lpn Or Lvn Schools In The Philippines? Pls Email Me Back.. Thanks A Lot!

If Kennedy Global is still doing distance/online theory courses and sending you to the Philippines for clinicals, it will not be accepted in California. They use to advertise that they were approved by the US Board of Nursing. There is NO US Board of Nursing for LPN/LVNs. They were advertising big in San Francisco and Houston.

I don't understand why the LPN schools in the Philippines are still allowed to operate. Their graduates are not recognized by the Philippine government. Their graduates are not quallified to immigrate based on their "education." And there are hundreds of thousands of more qualified, better educated, jobless registered nurses in the Philippines.

If you want to waste money and time, why not just burn your money, and watch the clouds go by instead of attending an LPN school in the Philippines?

Hi, i need some help, I'm looking for schools in manila that has LPN course. I'm a greencard holder and heading to philippines about a month from now, i just need some ideas what schools to go to.. plsss need some replies thanx alot :nuke:

The few programs there qualify to take the NCLEX-PN exam, but that does not mean that a facility will hire someone based on that training, especially since there is not a shortage of LPNs in the US. Even if they are a US citizen.

YES they are hiring here in the US...Im sorry to disappoint you..but yes they are hiring. Just past your NCLEX-PN. You are a US Citizen so you dont have a problem. Don't listen to this people.You are not going to work for them. All they do is discourage people who wants to better themselves..Your dream is your ultimate goal. It will happen if you want it to happen..Good luck. Go for it!

Kindly read the previous posts. With all due respect, I could not believe what you had posted. Please don't waste your time going back to the Philippines to attend an LVN school there. If you want to know the reason for this advise, may I suggest that you read the previous posts? If you still want to study in the Philippines after all these warnings, then that is your prerogative. It's your own money, time and effort. Let it be said that you had been properly advised and given warning.

It doesn't matter if you're a US Citizen or not, the problem lies with the program itself. It's not accepted in the Philippines and they can't get licensed there as a LVN. It's a money making scheme in order to get unsuspected people to pay tons of money for a program that isn't even recognized by their own county and most likely not be recognized abroad. If you're planning on taking your LVN in the Philippines there's no guarantee that you will be able to take the NCLEX-PN after you're finished. Most people are sucked into the idea that they will be able to migrate to the US under that program when in reality they don't qualify for a work visa. In this case the person already is a green card holder (doesn't mean they're a citizen ) but their education must be reviewed and even if they were a US Citizen it doesn't mean that they are automatically able to sit for the NCLEX-PN. If you really want your nursing degree and you want to do it in the Philippines, go for your BSN and choose a reputable school where you're going to get your moneys worth and learn all you can. i like your message encouraging people who wants to study lpn in philippines . Their are a lot of negative feedbacks on lpn program in philippines .im a us -phil . Citizen , my sister is in usa right now , lpn is pretty in demand in usa .that is all i know , i will take nclex -pn this is all it counts , right ?after finishing the lpn course? Do you know a good lpn school in cebu ? Please advise me .

Should also add that I see missing from the ones pushing those toward going to the Philippines for an LPN/LVN program, it's not only the visa problem but a lot of state Boards are scrutinizing those programs more and it's getting harder to be approved to take the NCLEX for the state you wish to apply. To be able to take the LPN NCLEX to be licensed in the US, you MUST be approved by a Board in the states. The US Boards do not give endorsement to those coming from other countries for the LPN/LVN. From my friend, the Boards are catching on to the tricks. You will see more and more state Boards asking more questions and demanding more paperwork. Just remember for anyone thinking of doing this, there is NO National Board that approves courses/programs for LPN/LVN as all states have different requirements (unlike RN programs which generally are accepted by most states), call the state Board FIRST and ask before spending any money, not after and then cry because you wasted your money. The Board was always there to ask. The one that use to get me when I worked there years ago was "my friend told me it was approved". "did you call us (the Board)?"..."no".

I agree with u some ppl dont even admit that they have priviledges and

resources than other ppl or minorities all over the world!

There are not many countries that will accept LPN from an immigration purpose. If you are already a citizen and the country uses LPN then fine look elsewhere to do your training however make sure that the training will be accepted otherwise you could have wasted your money. They may also require you to have a license for registration which will be an issue as the Philippines do not recognise LPN and therefore have no license exam at the end of it.

I am a greencard holder and is interested with LPN in PI as well.

BSN is not an option for me to take in PI because I'm only a greencard holder and can only stay 2-year max outside US using re-entry permit.

The BIGGEST question is which state board recognize LPN in PI for NCLEX-PN.

I guess I'll just call them and find out.

The question would be whether it would meet US requirements. I know you are a US citizen but does not mean you will be able to use PN in the US?

Yes you can! Some of my friends are now working and I am scheduled to take my pn-nclex this coming October.
