Is There Any Lpn Or Lvn Schools In The Philippines? Pls Email Me Back.. Thanks A Lot!

There are but if you are going to immigrate on an employment based immigrant visas, then it will not do anything helpful to you. You are wasting your time because a requirement for a EB3 visa for nurses is BSN.

Also you're not sure if that LPN/LVN courses offered here in Manila will be credited or recognized by hospitals abroad. It would be better to know first hand if there are LPN/LVN graduates here in Manila who are now working abroad as same and where did they take that course.

Why not take BS Nursing instead? Good luck to you...

There are a few programs currently in the Philippines but they are not recognized for licensure in the Philippines, and you cannot get a visa to work in most countries with that training.

The schools will tell you that you can sit for the NCLEX-PN exam, but the issue is that you cannot get a visa to work in the US, they fail to tell you that. Getting a license does not give you permission to work.

Well, I am talking about LVN course here in tha Philippines which do not qualify for an EB3 visa if your going through that one.

Other than that, if you are a US immigrant already and take the LPN course and sit for the NCLEX-PN then you are can work in the US.

In other words, BSN is EB3.

i think there are about 4 schools or more but if your gona enter the US and Canada with a tourist visa and a lpn certificate in the PI then forget about it. only immigrants and citizens to these countries are the ones that have the advantage of working.

check the website of TESDA philippines, im sure they have a listing of PN schools there.

The question would be whether it would meet US requirements. I know you are a US citizen but does not mean you will be able to use PN in the US?

The biggest issue that I have with that program is that it is not recognized by the Philippine Nursing Board in their country, and there have been issues with the clinical training of some of the RN programs, so where in the world are they going to do their practical training as a SPN?

Definitely, will not have an easy time to get a position in the US with that degree from there. Clincial training is just not going to be up to US standards.........and how can it be when they do not have LPNs there in the first place? The instructors probably have never even been to the US in the first place.

Bad move, in my opinion.

The few programs there qualify to take the NCLEX-PN exam, but that does not mean that a facility will hire someone based on that training, especially since there is not a shortage of LPNs in the US. Even if they are a US citizen.
