My wife is due to graduate this March '08 and as per their acting dean, it is impossible to beat the April 18 deadline set by the PRC for applicants of the June '08 nursing board exam to submit all the requirements. They said The transcript of all graduates have to be submitted to the CHED for approval. How true is this? does your school administrator also say the same, that it is impossible to beat the april 18 deadline?

My wife is going to graduate (hopefully and finally) BSN this March, 2008. One of her lecturers and clinical instructors told her that Mar '08 grads will have to take the locals boards in December'08 as there are many Oct '07 grads who has yet to take the exams as well as re-takers. How true is this? Any memo or official announcements from the Philippine Regulatory commission (PRC) will be appreciated.

I have two years experience as flight operations officer in an airline here in PI from 1996-1998 until i put up my own business. btw, my wife is a licensed accountant (Cert. Public accountant) here in PI but she hasn't been practicing since we got married in '96. what do you think our chances are in getting immigrant visas based on our employment record? once again, thank you. appreciate it.

My wife will graduate (hopefully) this March '08 and we might abandon our plans in going to the US due to the retrogression. We are now looking at NZ and Australia as possible alternatives. I have a few questions on how a fresh graduate from the Philippines can be able to work in either country. Here goes: 1. I understand a Filipina locally-licensed nurse will have to enroll in a bridging course that will take 6 months. If my wife goes to a bridging school in NZ and pass the NZ state boards, will she be able to apply as an RN in Australia as well even without experience? How about vice versa? 2. We have four kids, ages 11, 8, 7, and 3. If she gets a job as a nurse in either country, will we be able to get immigrant visas right away so I can get a job myself? That's all for now. dissonant, a guy who bought my car two weeks ago is from atlanta, ga and he'll be taking up nursing in fatima. if someone will support you financially while you're here in the philippines, then it is phil is a good choice instead of the us. tuition and lodging is cheaper. post edited to conform with the tos of this forum.
