Is St. Louis a good review center for NLE?

Published

I am currently preparing for the NLE this Dec. and Im confused of what review center to choose from. Our school is catering the RUN review center but the thing is it is quite expensive. The school are letting us pay about 40 to 50 thousand including the board and lodging, food and payment for the board and the review center. Is RUN a better review center than St. Louis? What are your thoughts? Is there a website for this two rev. centers?

i havent personally tried both review centers but i got feedbacks from my friends who did.and they like st.louis much better.the reviews are very good compared to RUN. but, always remember that no matter which center u enrolled in, its the 4 years of nursing class- basic knowledge that u possesed..good luck on ur exam!

It's still comes down to how much time and efforts you put on studying your lessons.

The money you spend does not all the time guarantee your passing.

If you have a good study habit and a list of comprehensive review materials, you are ready to go.

hi there, i personally can say that st. louis review center is a good review center with regards to NLE based on my experience with them. they have lots of practice tests to be more familiar with the actual exams. their fees are also minimal and affordable. but its still your choice, as some of the replies, whats important is howicon7.gif you perform in the actual exam. goodluck.

it depends on your personality if you want a review that is purely concentrated on just the review of nursing topics and lecture,i would not suggest st.louis for you, there are a lot other than the review if it is from st, louis, sometimes the lecturers break into a song number, or sometimes they will tell jokes or funny stories to liven it up, which i don't consider anything wrong about it, they even hire stand up comedians to do intermissions during the review if they are held on big venues like metrobar.so i guess if you are young and hip and don't want a boring review you can visit st.louis, but if you want a straight and forward review i suggest you go to an another review center.

i will be taking the nle dis nov. 2008... can u help me choose a good review center in cebu for final coaching...thanx!

the only review center that i can think about right now is kaplan, i know that they have a branch in cebu, i did not review there so i really don't know much about them,as far as i know they have test prep which is similar to final coaching, hope that help you on choosing a review center.

i reviewed with them SLRC-CDO from august-november 2007, passed the december 2007 NLE with board rating of 82.20%.....

but still it depends on how you make an effort to study, listen to lectures, patiently answer practice questions, etc......

if i'm not satisfied with the rationales i would look for answers in books, internet...:typing

dont forget to unwind, relax, enjoy and have fun with your review! :D

its a learning experience....

Kaplan review center is not that good for NLE. they are only good for the nclex review: computer based. their live lec is not that good too. If I were to choose, I think SLRC is better. RUN is good too but I think the review centers dont really matter much. What's important is that you study hard, answer as many questions as you can, and PRAY!!!! God bless!

i highly recommend EDGEWORTH review center located near Morayta st. for NLE. i got a lot of unpleasant feedbacks from st.louis. its up to you. good luck.

Im not for or against any review centers.. but it seems that a lot of these big review centers have lost some of there standards in delivering good quality review.. ive heard a lot from different grad nurses in Cagayan De Oro and iligan in different major review centers that the rationales/after every mock exam were not satisfactory if not poorly given to them.... or... they were hiring... new speakers who lack educational or professional history... some of them even promise a lot of programs within the review that were disappointing and misleading,,

buttom line....

Its not the review center that is important but really your efforts to prepare well for your exam.... it would be much better if you asses your study habits/learning styles first and seek the review center that would cater best for your preparation.... Good luck :)
