RN Licensure for foreign grad in Vermont
Hello there! Im a nursing graduate and planning to take NCLEX without taking the NLE yet. What state that doesn't require a Phil. license and a CGFNS certificate? Vermont is asking for a license before one can sit for an NCLEX exam. I heard its ok for a nursing grad to take any NCLEX examinations even without passing the NLE. Why now some states are actually asking for one?

Thanks for the reply, it does help a lot! I hope this would'nt be a problem for my bf's application abroad, I dont want him to be stuck in this country knowing nurses are not well compensated here. I will be soon taking the local board and another problem that bugs me now is, will it be ok to take the NLE even if im pregnant? Well im really confused now a days, there are so many things that makes me anxious. Your messages will surely be a relief....

Getting Married?
Im actually a month pregnant now, and my bf is hesitant of getting married. He recently passed the Nclex exam and he is just waiting for the retro to lift so he could proceed to his applications abroad. He felt that the idea of marrying soon will delay his plans on going abroad. Is it possible that we can marry as soon a possible and have me included on his application? Will this affect or will it delay his application? What will be the best move or decision should we take? Is it good that marriage will just come later after he pursued his dreams abroad? He promised to marry me soon after but the idea of not getting married while having a baby is somewhat unacceptable especially to my family.

Is St. Louis a good review center for NLE?
I am currently preparing for the NLE this Dec. and Im confused of what review center to choose from. Our school is catering the RUN review center but the thing is it is quite expensive. The school are letting us pay about 40 to 50 thousand including the board and lodging, food and payment for the board and the review center. Is RUN a better review center than St. Louis? What are your thoughts? Is there a website for this two rev. centers?

Help!!!- Tips On How To Pass/prepare Nursing Licensure Exam
Hello! I am a fresh graduate and ill be taking the exam this Dec. I have started reading nsg books and i seemed to find it difficult concentrating in one area. After reading one book I jumped to another book without finishing the former. Our clinical insructor also told us that it is not wise to read nclex book because local board are far more different than the nclex exams. Does this make sense?
