I have a nice black pant suit, a light purple button-up blouse, 1.5-inch heals (not chunky), and was planning to go very light with make-up and jewelry. Does this sound too formal or about right for a summer student nurse internship interview? Thanks!

Sounds nice! I might look at the shoes and decide if they look more cocktail party than professional, but the outfit sounds very nice. I don't think it sounds like you'll be overdressed, but even if you were I think it's better to err on the side of overdressing than under when you are making your first professional impression. Good providence on your interview! :)

I totally agree with Here.I.Stand. Double-check the shoes to make sure they look professional, but other than that, it sounds good.

I so love to have people show me their best when they interview. If being a slob is someone's best I would rather they stay home. Your wardrobe sounds appropriate.
