By the time I got in and graduated from CRNA school I would be nearly 40. Does anyone see this as to old to be getting into this area? What are the average ages of some of your classmates?
It's never too late and your never too old...my grandfather decided that he wanted to be a dentist when he was 50 and he hadn't been to college yet. He still holds the distinction of being the oldest graduate of his dental progrm and he graduated in the 1950's!
Look at it this way-you have life experience that the younger students don't have and that puts you at a distinct advantage when relating to your patients.
Do whatever makes you happy.
As much as I would like to retire at the age of 40, which is only a few months away, I really cannot see that retirement check coming in before I am 65 years of age. As long as I continue to be reminded of this I will continue along the CRNA path. Failing that I can always put more effort into playing the lottery!

You have a great base of knowledge, which puts you at an advantage compared to us who are 20 something. Go for it.
TOOO OOOLLLDDD??????
Last Thursday I graduated from my BSN program!
I had been an ADN prepared nurse for 10 years before that and plan to return sometime next year for a Graduate degree.
I just turned 46 in June! You're only too old if you can't walk into your class. GO FOR IT and good luck!

I don't think so. You will be the same age either way. Do what you want to do. You might live to be a hundred so you have plenty of time left.
