It sure is for me, and I was in the military before nursing school!
No, it is not.
I started doing patient care while people regularly shot at us, trying to kill my patients and me. That was harder. Also the most rewarding thing I've ever done.
But actually the hardest job for me would be one where I don't feel like there is any importance to my labours. And that, thank God, is not something I expect to ever feel about nursing.

yes! i love nursing but i am absolutely exhausted after my shift and ache from head to toe. what makes it "the hardest job" is the amount of responsibility that comes with it - under such busy, heavy-load circumstances. i constantly pray i won't miss something or forget to do something. the rewards are unlimited, but so is the stress. :dzed::dzed::dzed::dzed:
