anybody want to share there scores on the teas V. I got a 79, but if you calculate it on your own, it comes out different from their calculations. Hesi A2, I scored a 93.7 with and 850 critical thinking score. I hated the Teas!!! I'm applying to Uthsc, twu, utmb. I was doing UTA apprenticeship program, but they are so disorganized I don't think I would want to go through a new program like that. Although, I probably should take what I can get.
I was so upset with my score. I made a 78%. I am still not sure what to expect as far as acceptance goes. I made a perfect score on both reading and english. on math i made an 85%. The science floored me! I thought I was pretty well prepared....umm.....nope! The bad thing is that you cant repeat the test for 6 weeks. Unfortunately I dont have that long until my application is due. I have a 4.0 GPA, I have taken all of my non-nursing courses and will be turning in everything next week. We will see.
SerenePeach....how much time did you take in between practice tests? I took one on Friday, and i am anxious to do the other right away.
I took a day between the two practice tests. I did the first one Monday afternoon, studied some more, then took the second one Tuesday afternoon, and studied some more. I then took the actual TEAS on a Wednesday afternoon. I highly recommend buying both online practice tests...I found that my main problem was not reading carefully and rushing through the questions. The practice tests also identified my main weaknesses so I could focus on those (really helpful for the reading comprehension imo).
Good luck!
Blah blah blah I scored a 99 and have a 3.8, I scored an 89 and have a 3.99. Same old same old bragging (and lying).
I don't think anyone is lying or bragging on here, they are just trying to see if their test scores are good scores or not. If all you have to contribute is negativity why don't you keep it to yourself nobody else needs it. This forum is for people to get feedback and advice not attitude.

This is the first year the program I'm applying to is using the TEAS V and I'm a little confused by my score. I scored an overall 77.3% My initial reaction was that something in the 70's can't be a good score but I've heard some people say TEAS V scores are usually lower than the regular TEAS. Is that accurate? I've been trying to get a hold of the admissions adviser to get some info but haven't heard a response and in the meantime I'm going crazy wondering how I really did
On the plus side the program I'm applying to puts an emphasis on the math and reading portion and those are the two I did the best on and my GPA is a 3.6 so maybe it's not completely hopeless
