Is anyone using surface pro 3?

Looking to use it for school and would like some feedback from people who have it. If this is not the best place for the question let me know, thanks. I have no experience with tablets at all if that matters.

I use a surface pro 2 and I absolutely love it. It's easy to use, compatible with all windows programs, has replaced my laptop, and is portable! :)

I use the 3 and love it.

I got it for school to replace my laptop. It is super light and easy to use. Let me know if you have any specific questions about it.

Be aware that there are fan-based websites for the Surface devices where you can also find info and pose questions. Just do an internet search. You can lurk for free, and register if you want to post a question.

I just purchased the surface pro 3 for my second semester of nursing school I have always had Mac products so I was nervous but so far so good. I have all my PowerPoint for lecture downloaded on it and I can write note directly on my surface onto my PowerPoint. Love that!!!! So many awesome ways to use it and I am able to replace my bulky laptop.

I have the pro 2 and love it! I just finished doing a power point for a presentation on Monday. It's compact, lightweight and has features that I still haven't used because there are so many!

Between the surface pro 2 or 3 do you still feel like the surface pro 2 does just as much ?

I posted this about a year ago and went out and got the 3. i use it so much that I do not use my desk top anymore. Since they have come out with newer models, 4, I think you would be better off with the 3 if you are trying to save money. Just get it with the i3 chip and small hard drive and save everything to the cloud or an external hard drive or flash drive. No need for the i5 unless you want more performance for vids or games. I hook mine up to a larger monitor when home and also put an extra memory chip in to save to if I need it.

Microsoft also offers a student discount and MSOffice discounted. Just call Microsoft direct and ask them for a quote. Then if you have a Microsoft store locally you can bring a copy of the emailed quote and the store will honor the price. I was able to get mine with 2 year extended warranty, student bundle (case & keyboard), ms office, etc for about $200 less than retail of the SP3 alone
