hi guys i am from philly pa. i have a quick question i am divorced and rasing two little girls, however i am determined to become a nurse..a friend told me about southside regional medical center - school of nursing and i was wondering if anyone knows anything about the program... any input good or bad is appreicated.

I am applying to SRMC Traditional Program for the Spring '10! I also applied to J. Sargeant Reynolds, but it seems pretty competitive to get in.. so hopefully between the two I will get in this Spring! :plsebeg:
SRMC has moved to a ASN program. I am starting at Richard Bland College in Jaunuary to take my pre reqs than I am going to aply to SRMC in August or September to enter their program. I am so excited and I can't wait to get started!
I got accepted into their traditional program and I start spring 2010. I took my prerequisites at JTCC. Can I still get my AS from Richard Bland? I know I would have to take extra classes but would that be the only hurdle? Thanks for any help:wink2:
hello i have a question i start richard bland next month for pre-reqs and i wanted to know about the net test was it hard and was it hard to get in to their program the lady at the nursing school said they just check reading and math on the net test im a person who hate math so i would have to really focus on my math. what is the overall score. any advice
hello just trying to see who can give me advice about the net test at srmc for the mursing program was it hard to get in and how is the net test i took the teas and it was hard i did not pass for bon secours program. the lady told me they only grade u on math and reading im not really that good in math so i just want to knw how was it and im looking foward to becoming a nurse it just the net test see im not that good at taking test and i get nervous and scared and blank out. i just wan to pass what im supposed them parts im supposed to pass to get in that program. can anyone help me or give any advice..... i know its a grat school but i lived in petersburg all my life i nevr really herad any talk about their program
Patrice87 I wanted to know the same thing u are asking but I take my test tomorrow aug25 so ill let u know im not good in math but alot of people have said there are alot of fractions on the test. I go to rbc as well so ill let u know how it goes
I did take the test pass the reading which was a little harder than I thought it would be but I did not pass the math.I have always hated math.Hoping to retake it if they have anymore dates avail. Wish me luck:lol2:
