Yes, that is going to cause you a problemClinicals are 2 days during the week from 630-330 or 4pm. They do not have any weekend programs as of yet. I will ask though on Friday. I work at one of the hospitals on the same floor that they do clinicals.I'm good friends with the instructor so I will ask her for you but I doubt it. I know right now she is the only instructor at our hospital and she doesn't do weekends. Sorry:madface:
For the online program, can you log in when u want to or do u have specific times that you have to log on? Also what classes do you take online and do you ever have to go to a classroom for any of those classes?

I don't know where you ladies are. I am in PA so I have no idea about Virginia you would have to call them and ask about the program if you are in VA. For PA though you can log in whenever you want to day or night as long as you get the work in by the designated due date. You basically take all your nursing classes online everything you need med surg, oncology, nursery, labor and delivery, psyc, OR, open heart, peds everything pertaining to bookwork is online no classroom most of the tests are online as well you do have to go into the lab for finals and they may do a few tests at the lab other then that you just go in the 2 days a week for clinicals. Hope this helps out.
thank you so much for asking for me!i've looked into all the programs and SRMC is the only one that seems good.
bon secours and john tyler have weekend programs, but both have huge hoops to jump thru.
if SRMC doesn't do weekends, then i guess it isn't the program for me. bummer.
Not sure where you are. I don't think PA has weekend programs but again I will ask for you. I don't know about VA if you are there you might want to call and ask them. Hope this helps and if you want to know about PA I will certainly ask on Friday Good Luck:D
I am going to go to SRMC. I applied in May of 2009 for this fall's class, I was accepted, but had to decline because in May my husband and I found out that we were expecting. If the baby came even 2 weeks early, I would miss more than 2 clinicals and my finals, ... they said they would not fail me because it would be a medical leave, but I would not get credit for that semester and I would not get my money back, and I would have to re-apply to start back up in Spring 2010 term as being my 1st semester. So needless to say, ... I am either going to try and start the online program in the Spring, or wait until next fall to start the regular RN program. I really like the people there. and their new hospital in Petersburg is beautiful!
