Hello everyone. I'm currently enrolled in my last set of pre-reqs for the RN program. In my microbiology classs, I noticed there is high anxiety because the applicant pool looks strong this year and 90% of my class are nursing applicants. I would like to start a support group, for passing along information, questions, advice, or just emotional guidance. We can all be nurses. We can all do it. Let's help each other get there! Does anyone have any tips for the NLN exam? Unfortunately, I have class and cannot attend the free review sessions.
I wonder what "shortly" means?? Maybe that's hope that we will know today. I called the nursing dept. this morning and was told they are still reviewing applications. I am just curious to know how big the lpn pool is this semester. This is my first time applying for the LPN program although I have applied to RN a couple of times with no success. I scored a 128 on my nln-pn and already have my AA degree.
Does any of the LPNs hopefuls care to share what your scores are??
Good luck to everyone and congrats to all who were accepted to the RN program!

I got a 133 on the NLN-PN
Do you think our scores are good enough to be accepted? I am so nervous!! I know it is all speculation at this point. I just have no idea what the "norm" is for LPN applicants.
I'm sure they will be. My counselor said that the LPN pool is very small. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I don't think it will a bad outcome.

This is my first time applying for the LPN. I scored 140 on the NLN. I'm so nervous already. Good luck to those who have been accepted to the RN program.
I have a question.
Since there are X number of people being accepted into the RN program that are already LPN's, Paramedics and RT, and say that 10 of them chose to advance themselves one semester. Would that not leave the 2016 class with 10 open spots that now could be filled by the alternates, or am I completely off base on this?
